Richard S. Gordon, MD

Dr. Gordon received his bachelor's degree from Williams College in Massachusetts. He received his doctor of Medicine degree from Northwestern University and served his Internship at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. He completed his fellowship in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology at the Mayo Clinic and has been a specialist in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology for more than 40 years. He was also Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Loma Linda School of medicine and founded The Arthritis Medical Clinic in 1977. He has been on the advisory Board of the Arthritis Foundation for many years and the Advisory Board of the Riverside County Visiting Nurse Association. He was also the attending physician at the arthritis clinic located at Riverside General Hospital, and the current Rheumatology lecturer at UCR/UCLA Biomedical Sciences in Riverside, California. Dr. Gordon is a member and Fellow of the American Rheumatism Associations, American College of Rheumatology, American College of Physicians, the Southern California Rheumatism Society, the American Medical Association, Riverside County Medical Association, and the International League against Rheumatism.  He is a certified FAA Senior Aviation Medical Examiner.
